Noosa is about 140 km from Brisbane Airport which is about 1 hour 35-minute drive.

Closest Local Airport: Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY)
Flights to Brisbane Airport (BNE) may not have a connection to the Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) so it may be worth considering a flight into Sydney or Melbourne with a connection to Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY). From there, you can either rent a car or take a shuttle service to reach Noosa, which is approximately a 30-minute drive.

Passport Validity

Ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in Australia.

Visa Requirements

Unless you are an Australian citizen, you will need a valid Australian visa to enter the country. New Zealand passport holders can apply for a visa upon arrival in the country. All other passport holders, regardless of age, must apply for a visa before leaving home. You can apply for a range of Australian visa types, including tourist visas and working holiday visas, via the ETA app or on the AU Department of Home Affairs website.

Electronic Travel Authority (ETA):
Some travelers may be eligible for an ETA, which is an electronically stored authority for travel to Australia. All ETA-eligible passport holders must apply for an ETA using the Australian ETA app (look for it in your phone's app store). For more information, see the Step by step guide.

European passport holders may be eligible for an eVisitor (subclass 651).
